The program between MTC and the Malaysian Timber Industry Board (MTIB) began on July 28 and will end on Monday (September 6).
MTC allocated RM 1.3 million for vaccination programs in Peninsular Malaysia, giving grants of RM 30 for each worker vaccinated.
Zuraidah said the Vacoms program was started to prevent clusters of Covid-19 in the workplace and to create a safer environment for the industry to operate.
âWe hope that more agencies will open vaccination centers to ensure that all workers in the food industry receive their vaccines and obtain herd immunity so that the country’s economy can be boosted.
